Easily one of the most successful shoots I've ever done. This week I teamed up with Dominic Gould and tried out my first portraiture shoot using light prisms.
For this shoot, I wanted to recreate the drug scene from the first episode of Altered Carbon, (a Netflix series that's a must see) where the main character starts to see holographic neon signs all around him after taking a drug in the form of an eye-drop.
To pull this off I used the prisms, which by the way if you haven't already checked them out, are from Fractals.
This shoot just went too well, there are too many pictures to choose from and the prisms are just complimenting my style perfectly. They did a great job of bouncing the light around my image and I didn't really expect them to recreate the Altered Carbon scene so well.
It was also my first time working with a professional model, Dom was excellent and he taught me a lot about how models should position and pose, the best angles and how to direct. Check out Dom's work here.
So check out the pictures below!
On a side note we are forecast a lot of rain tomorrow...
